Remote Session with Wes Johnson
November 13-14, 2009 - JR Utopian Studios was proud to remotely welcome singer-songwriter Wes Johnson into the studio all the way from Mississippi!
Wes lives, works, and plays from Hattiesburg, MS, and is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and guitarist with influences ranging from South Carolina to Texas. Wes plays professionally at numerous venues in southern Missisippi and across the Gulf coast.
Wes recorded some of his original blues compositions in Hattiesburg, then sent them to JRUS for production and additional tracking. One of Wes' playing partners, guitarist Wayne Dawson, was on hand to add guitar and bass tracks.
